Political campaign for the youth section of the Danish political party, De Radikale (a centrist political party).
The parliamentary election was called while a popular series, "Forbrydelsen" (The Crime) was shown on national television in Denmark watched by half the Danish population.
The campaign, which went under the name "Fortrydelsen", (Regretting), is political satire and is linked to the feel and look of the popular series. The heroes are replaced with the leaders of the political party, Margrethe Vestager and Morten Østergaard, while the gallery of villains is formed by the right wing in Danish politics.
In addition, using a series of small "movie scenes", which clearly show some right-wing "crimes" in some of key issue areas of this political party, including the tough immigration policies, the Danish People's (right wing) influence on the economic policies and the minister of education, Bertel Haarder's "black school".
The campaign consisted of election posters in large format, postcards and a website where you could explore the personal gallery and read more about the various politicians and the "crimes".
The campaign was not allowed to run for long, and only after four days the Danish Broadcasting Corporation pulled the plug. This resulted in extensive press coverage of the youth section of the political party, De Radikale, and posters and postcards quickly became collectors' items.
