Dash'n'crash is a flash game in the genre of "News-games" - small games that raise awareness about an issue or a product and which are published due to a current event.
SAS (the leading airline group in Northern Europe) had dramatic problems with aging aircrafts of the type Dash 8. In particular, there were problems with the landing gear, which repeatedly collapsed on landing.
DR - Danish Broadcasting Corporation (national public radio and TV) picked up the story in the program "God morning P3" - a popular radio channel in Denmark.
The story had a humorous angle, and as an interactive aspect to involve the listeners, KathArt Interactive developed the game Dash'n'Crash, which gave listeners an opportunity to land a Dash 8 aircraft themselves.
The game uses a combination of 3D and animated characters.
