Internal communications in Vejdirektoratet

As a result of structural reforms in the Danish Vejdirektoratet (a governmental institution overseeing and managing among others the roads in Denmark) the number of employees doubled and in addition the organization was given a wide range of new responsibilities.

The new goals and responsibilities had to be quickly and effectively communicated to 900 employees - divided out on seven locations throughout the country. The goal was to give the employees a thorough understanding of the goals and vision and a clear sense of belonging to a single organizational body.

To support and complement the personal communication from management to employees KathArt Interactive conceived, designed and implemented a number of presentations, which were delivered to all employees, when they met at work after the Christmas break.

The campaign included:

- Design of a welcome mail with Vejdirektoratets new identity and a greeting from the director, which was sent out to all employees.

- A small printed flyer with instructions to log on to the computer and the intranet. The brochure was placed at all work stations.

- Redesign of the welcome page of Vejdirektoratets intranet.

- Design of flash presentation, which in five minutes through pictures and sound explains goals and visions for the new organization. The presentation was the first, the staff met on the intranet.

- Design of flash-quiz on the organization's goals and values. The quiz was designed to make the individual employee interact and have him or her to think about the new values.
